Although our worship follows a traditional pattern we aim to ensure that all who come feel welcome at our services. The church retains many features from the past, including a west gallery and a family pew (more details). Candles are still used to provide lighting: there are some electric lights but these have been kept unobtrusive to maintain the character of the church. The tower was added in Tudor times and the porch in the 17th century. As the church is such an interesting building - it has been listed in some guide books and occasionally used for filming - we try to open it at times during the spring and summer months. Visitors are welcome to come and look round. During August 2008, starting on Sunday 3rd August, the church will be open every afternoon except on Saturdays.
This historic church dates from the 12th century and has been the local parish church
since that time. The present congregation is not large, but as the church is small
we are able to keep a friendly atmosphere.
