The life of the Church is varied and here is just a taster of some of the things we get up to together:
Learning Together:
As well as our times of Sunday worship we encourage membership of our HOME GROUPS. We have four groups each meeting twice monthly in different homes. These groups allow the opportunity to get to know others better and to learn from each other as we study the bible together. For more information on these groups please contact our LLM Alison Hassall.
Praying Together:
Twice a month we meet in Eton Wick Church for a time of prayer for ourselves and the world and to hear God’s voice speaking to us.
Confidential Prayer Ministry is also available at most services at Eton Wick and Eton and once a month at Dorney.
Church Life
Having fun together:
A variety of fun activities happen within the life of the Church such as Easter Egg Hunts, Concerts, Picnics, Quizzes and much more. Some of these are specifically to raise funds but some are just to have fun together and to get to know each other.
Baptisms/Weddings/Funerals
All our Churches are available to the community for times of both celebration and sadness. For more information on any of these occasional services please speak to one of the ministers.
Worldwide Mission:
Each Church is involved in supporting financially the worldwide church in our Mission giving. We have personal links with a Christian School in Tanzania through the Headmaster John Clarke who used to be a member of our congregation.
Sharing our faith with others:
This involves the whole Church as we think of how we can practically show others
the love of God. In particular we have good contacts with the local community through
our local schools and the groups and organisations that go on within our villages.
One initiative that was set up which has been a great success is the Gateway coffee
morning each Thursday from 10am-
To help others understand more about our faith we also run Alpha courses which go through the basics of what it means to be a Christian. For more information on these please contact the Vicar Lucy Holt.
